Web and Database Programming

This program is designed for adults who wish to upgrade their programming and Web development skills. This program enables students to upgrade their computer knowledge to meet the demands of the job market. It also trains students to write database and web applications by using evolving software and an object-oriented approach.

Conditions d’admission

Minimum requirements

To be admitted to an ACS program, applicants must possess a Quebec Secondary School Diploma (DES) or equivalent, as well as acquired knowledge and skills deemed sufficient by the College for success in the program. They must also meet one of the following conditions:

  • Have interrupted studies for at least two consecutive terms or one school year, OR
  • Have completed at least one year of post-secondary studies spread over a year or more, OR
  • Be subject to an agreement between the College and an employer or government program, OR
  • Possess a professional studies diploma (DEP)

Applicants must also be:

  • A Canadian citizen, OR
  • Permanent resident, OR
  • Temporary Resident (with a valid study permit and Certificat de Sélection du Québec - CSQ)

In addition, applicants must qualify for Quebec Residency (living in Quebec for at least one year) or have a CSQ. To be successful in this program, candidates must have a good command of the English language.

Préalables

To be selected, candidates :

  • must be familiar with a Windows operating system
  • have the suggested advanced computer specifications as listed here
  • pass a selection interview if required
