About the program

Program Goals

These individuals establish a professional synergy with members of the management, creative, production, and distribution teams, as well as with the artists. Everyone exchanges information, shares ideas, makes decisions, and works together for the success of a stage production project. This can take place in a venue or outdoors, and can be either a fixed show or a tour in Quebec, Canada, or abroad.

These professionals work in various fields, including circus arts, song, dance, music, opera, theater, musical theater, festivals, variety shows, and events of various types, etc.

Self-employment or contract work primarily characterizes the practice of various professions. Thus, these individuals devote time to managing their professional activities, establishing networks of contacts, and improving their skills.

The study program in Stage Production is structured to foster the development of attitudes and behaviors essential for the targeted professions, such as autonomy, a sense of responsibility, adaptability, creativity, and skills in professional relationships.

Furthermore, it allows for the reconciliation of two requirements, namely versatility and specialization. Versatility is ensured by the acquisition of general skills, while specialization is ensured by the acquisition of skills specific to each specialization pathway.
