Advanced Therapies Biomanufacturing

This college certification is designed to rapidly train technicians specialized in the production of advanced therapies, addressing the labor shortage in the life sciences sector and supporting the production of RNA vaccines.

About the program

This training is intended for candidates with a scientific background and focuses on advanced therapeutic techniques used in cell therapy and biomedical research. The hybrid course includes 45 hours of laboratory practice and 15 hours of supporting theoretical instruction.

It aims to deepen understanding of the pharmaceutical production of advanced therapies, with a particular emphasis on biologic drug therapies.

Learners will be introduced to aseptic techniques, process monitoring, and production methods commonly used in cell and gene therapy.

Note: This college certification is a non-credit higher education program focused on the biopharmaceutical production of advanced therapies. 

Condition of admission

Participants must have a university degree in health sciences, be production technicians in related sectors, or be chemical technologists with a strong interest in a career in advanced therapies. An individual laptop is highly recommended for lab analysis and online sessions.
