DCS Arts, Literature & Communication : Media Option

The Arts, Literature and Communication – Media Option program encourages you to develop a well-informed perspective on the world of journalism and media, in preparation for university studies.

About the program

You will analyze various types of news media—sometimes from a historical and social perspective, and other times through reflective and critical study of contemporary articles, reports, or documentaries from Quebec and around the world. This theoretical journey is complemented by courses focused on practical exercises and journalism projects, both written and audiovisual, where you will learn and apply research and interview techniques, as well as use technical tools such as cameras, audio recorders, and video equipment.
