DCS Office System Technology (RAC)

You have experience in the office administration field ? This RAC process could be for you.

About the program

RAC for Office System Technology – Specialization in Office Work Coordination is for people who have a significant amount of work or life experience in the office administration field and wish to have their skills officially recognized by a Quebec college.

Condition of admission

To be admitted to a RAC (Recognition of Acquired Competencies) process, you must meet the admission requirements of the college where you submit your application.

Admission requirements and registration procedures vary from one college to another for RAC pathways leading to an ACS (Attestation of College Studies). However, you should expect to provide certain documents, such as a birth certificate, proof of education (high school, college, or other diplomas), academic transcripts, a comparative evaluation or foreign credentials (if applicable), a résumé (CV), and other supporting documents.

If you were born outside Canada, you will be required to provide proof of Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.

It is also important to note that the main stages of the RAC process are generally the same for all applicants and always begin with an individual or group information session. This information session is provided free of charge by the college.

To learn more about the steps involved in the RAC process, visit the RAC Process page on this website.
