This course is intended for professionals seeking to enhance their networking skills and knowledge.

About the program

This course introduces learners to the architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of the Internet and other computer networks. The fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations are introduced to provide a foundation for the professional seeking to develop their networking knowledge. 

In addition, learners will explore the basics of routing and switching, including how routers and switches enable data communication, direct traffic, and support efficient network operations. 

Other key topics covered include Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), network redundancy, Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), and Network Address Translation (NAT), providing a well-rounded introduction to essential networking concepts.
