About the program

In this course, learners develop the skills required to accurately prepare import and export customs documentation, classify goods under the Harmonized System, determine tariff treatments and rules of origin, and calculate duties, taxes, and regional value content. The course also covers import and export permit regulations, customs valuation methods, release and reporting processes, and the completion and submission of key CBSA forms, including commercial invoices, accounting declarations, corrections, temporary admissions, and export declarations. By the end of the course, learners will be fully prepared to manage the import and export process with confidence in real-life professional situations.

Condition of admission

Learners are expected to have basic understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, and a level intermediate Excel prior to registering for this course.
