DCS Social Science and Visual Arts

The Double DCS in Social Science and Visual Arts combine the training of these two pre-university programs.

About the program

Program Objectives

The Double DEC is a college program that combines two pre-university study programs. Due to the nature of the training and despite a curriculum that requires three years of study (compared to standard pre-university programs which require two years), a Double DEC remains a pre-university program and is not intended for direct entry into the job market.

Students who choose to pursue a Double DEC are usually interested in more than one field of study. Some have not yet finalized their academic orientation and hope that this dual program will allow them to continue their reflection by exploring the many disciplines offered during their college studies.

The Double DEC in Social Sciences and Visual Arts combines the pre-university training of both programs. Visit the website of the cégep of your choice to find out if specific options are available.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the admission requirements of both pre-university programs being combined.
